Only three games of significance in AA
Undefeated Grandview travels to Boyd. Godley beat Boyd 38-21 last week. I think Grandview will win by three TDs. This will give us a preview when Godley visits Grandview in three weeks and gives their coach an opportunity back up his talk.

Daingerfield @ Gilmer will determine one thing. If the Tigers stay within three scores of Gilmer the Class AA Division I route will be a walk unless injuries and are grades kill Daingerfield. Gilmer won 49-18 last year. Gilmer beat Kilgore (probably an AAAA playoff team) 70-27 last week. The last time the Number one AAA played the Number one AA was in 2006 and Gilmer defeated Tatum 45-21 at Gilmer. I made the game and the town was in grid lock for two hours after the game due to HUGE crowd. Tatum breezed the playoffs by an average spread of 33 points.

Refugio @ Vanderbilt Industrial is a big game for Region IV. Both have played a typically weak Region IV schedule. Refugio won 32-18 last year. Refugio should win by a TD and will continue to be overestimated by the AP until they catch Region III. Too bad Arp, Newton and maybe Daingerfield must play each other before they kill one of these team (or maybe Rice).
