The rumor mill or coach’s gossip says…….Daingerfield maybe better than advertised…..Gilmer may be playing defense as well as offense (watch out)….Tatum is good and very young….Alto and Mart are down considerably….Anahuac maybe the biggest surprise in Reg. II AA…Bushland is very good…..Cayuga is good but not unbeatable…..Cisco, Pilot Point, Arp, Corrigan Camden, Kirbyville and Newton as good as usual but it will take a couple of good games to indicate how good…. The checks will come early for some: Newton plays at CC and Arp will host Paul Pewitt on Friday. Kirbyville will play West Orange Stark in week 2…..I know old PP is going to jump on me but, Pilot Pt and Cisco will not have a real check on their schedules.
OldMan, enjoy reading your posts and was wondering what you meant by the following... Cisco will not have a real check on their schedule.
I believe that Cisco is going to have a down year in 2009 as the talents are there but not much playing time to really know what Cisco is made of this year!!

I do not think Cisco has a top level team on their schedule. Clyde was a top level team last year; however, they lost their coach. If you look at a lot of the other top teams they will play one, two or three quality teams.
