Class 2A Week 3 Top 25
1. Arp 4-0 finally gave up more than one TD but romped a AAA
2. Daingerfield 4-0. Plays AAA power Gilmer next and should feel good if the stay within 3 TDs
3. Bushland 4-0 beat very good class A Stratford team 35-9. I wish it wasn’t a 10 hour drive to see them play.
4. Newton 4-0 won a close on over an AAA playoff team.
5. Muleshoe 4-0 beat a solid Crane team 21-7.
6. Pilot Point 4-0 beat a so-so AAA Sanger 29-10.
7. Cisco 4-0 beat Bangs 33-0
8. Crane 3-1 lost to no. 6 Muleshoe 21-7. The stats reflected the score. Both teams must have outstanding punters (Crane 6-42.7 & Muleshoe 6-38.3)
9. Kirbyville 3-1 beat weak AAA Liberty 37-0; however, their loss to Jasper looks much better since Jasper knocked off no. 3 AAA West Orange Stark.
10. Gunter 3-0
11. Godley 4-0 beat Boyd 38-21. I stated before the season if Godley went 4-0 I would have them in the top 10. I would only consider placing them in front of Gunter; however, Gunter beat no. 19 Caddo Mills and beat Boyd by 31. Godley is close.
12. Corrigan Camden 3-1 CC made a QB change and can actually throw the ball. Coach Armstrong is one of the best offensive line coaches, but he believes “Throw shall not pass” is the 11th commandment.

16. Refugio beat 4-0
17. Rice Consolidate (3-1) beat Lexington 26-22
18. Caddo Mills 2-1
19. Blanco 3-1
20. ELYSIAN FIELDS 3-0
21. Aubrey 4-0 Moore is moving them up.
22. Henrietta 4-0
23. Anahuac 3-1 The Panthers beat Hitchcock 49-14 and made some personnel changes that seem to paid off.
24. Kerens 2-1 lost to Cayuga 32-26
25. Franklin 3-1 stumbled out of the gate but seems rebounded. The Lions beat New Waverly 21-18.
