Muleshoe is now 4-0 on the season after a surprisingly defensive win over the highly-ranked Crane Golden Cranes. Crane, normally a high-powered passing offense, managed just 80 passing yards on the evening and turned the ball over twice. Muleshoe churned out 352 yards of offense. |

Army Strong 2A Team of Week 4...
Jacksboro's upset win over No. 4 Holliday looked like it might come crumbling down after Holliday scored a fourth-quarter touchdown to pull it within one. But when the Holliday Eagles opted for the game-winning two-point conversion instead of the game-tying PAT, the Jacksboro defense held, sealing the 28-27 upset victory and giving Holliday its first loss of the season. |

Army Strong 2A Team of Week 5.
Troy was in danger of losing its coveted status this weekend when it travelled to fellow-ranked Crawford as an 8-point underdog, and a standing-room only crowd had the stadium is rowdy as any 5A or 4A game. But this rivalry went to Troy for the fourth season in a row, as Troy forced the Pirates into four fumbles, and interception and even a blocked punt. Troy scored a touchdown with 30 seconds to go to put it in the lead for good. |

Army Strong 2A Team of Week 6.
Though undefeated McGregor was technically first in 16-2A heading into the weekend, it was still a home underdog to rival Crawford in a critical district matchup. But McGregor, leading 10-7 heading into the fourth quarter, held the Pirates without a single yard in the final frame to cling to the narrow victory. McGregor also lost its quarterback, Dylan Ripley, in the third quarter; he left the field on a stretcher with a hip injury. The team refused to fold, however, and held on for the win. |
