Traylon Shead is the RB from Cayuga that has committed to Texas. For a couple of weeks he has had a very sore ankle; however, Shead rushed for 194-yards on 21-carries and scored 4-TD's as Cayuga beat Overton, 61-21. They have a WR (Malcome Kennedy) that has committed to A&M. They have another kid (Kyle Wiseman, 6’4-260) being recruited by SFA and other small schools.

Lost 33-26 at Frankston
Won 46-6 vs Grand Saline
cancelled at Dawson
Won 32-26 vs Kerens
Won 23-2 at *Price Carlisle
Won 61-21 vs *Overton
Alto is in the same district and beat Frankston 18-13 and Carlisle 35-0. Cayuga plays at Alto in week nine (Oct. 30) and I will make the game. Cayuga, Alto and Grapeland should go into the playoffs and Alto will be in Division I. If Price slips up on Grapeland and make the playoffs, both Cayuga and Alto will go Division II.

Mart will be in Division II primarily due to Lovelady (which could be the best class A team in the region). Also, Resiel looks like a contender and both have higher enrollments than Mart. The dark horse in this will be Tenaha. It will be interesting.

Kyle Wiseman graduated last year, and, IMO, was Cayuga's best player on defense.

Alto has been playing lights-out defense. 11 players with speed that will get after it and bring it!
