Looks like we are back to jaw-wagging and being Monday Morning Quarterbacks. Let's all try to keep it clean so that we don't get erased again . I guess that's what happened ?
Predictions: Div. 11 finial 4 teams to be alive.

Plano Prestonwood vs. Concordia Lutheran
Midland Christian vs. Houston Northland Christ.

A classic north vs. south or Dallas area vs. Houston Area battle . Houston teams have traditionally been considered to be a weaker district than the average level of play in the Dallas area. I am sure that the Houston teams might think it's time to prove this thought incorrect .There are Bi-District games and Regional games to play and maybe I am putting the horse before the cart ,but I think this is the way things will shake out.

i think northland will make it to final 4 but i just think concoridia might have problems gettin there, yeah i know there a strong team and they have proved it but i dont know if they can compete with the compitition up there, and plano prestonwood , theyv played good but do you think they will be able to make it even with their back up quaterback, and you know denton liberty beat midland chrsitian right, you dont think liberty will make final 4?

Its strange to see the State Championship game in the first week of the playoffs. Usually they wait until the last week. Go Midland

Sometimes the brackets do not always match up the better teams at the right time. Quite often you see the teams that should be playing against each other for the State Championship meeting up around the third round. Lets you know where the real champioship game should be. The winner just doesn't get thier ring at the end.

Yes, QBfootball , I stand corrected . The way that the brackets work out Midland will have to play Prestonwood and one of these teams will be eliminated . I feel that Liberty will now most likely meet Northland in the Finial "4" .

"On a different note." I think that Concordia will suprise everyone . According to chron.com in reporting about the Northland vs. Concordia game ,that went into 4 OT periods, inwhich Northland won 61 to 55 , the game stats gave Concordia more total yards. At any give time that game could have gone either way . I feel that these two teams are very closely matched in talent , strength , speed, and heart, and both are well coached . The brackets start Concordia with San Antonio Christian a game that ( a game that Concordia should win ) . The next game that Concordia would have to play will be the winner of Victoria St.Joseph & Houston Lutheran South Academy . This game is going to be a good one but I feel that St. Joseph will come out on top . If you remember before district play started St. Joseph beat 2nd Baptist 6 to 3 but in district play Concordia crushed 2nd Bptist . All said and done Concordia's path to the "Finial Four" will most likely be the least challenging of all the other teams that make it there .

I think the Houston teams have a shot this year to head to the final four. At any given time, the top three could be better than the others. Concordia won a close one against Houston Christian that they should have lost. Northland escaped a close encounter with Concordia, and even the Houston Christian v. Northland looked fairly close for a while. If these teams meet back up again in the playoffs, which is possible between Houston Christian and Northland, it could be a different result

Houston Christian looks like it will be meeting Northland in Regional play and I think it will be an exciting game . I feel that Houston Christian will beat St. Anthony and be looking Northland Christian square in the eye for round # 2. Coach Johnston is a veteran with a lot of experience under his belt and if the Northland players do not have their heads in the game Houston Christian will cut their season a few games shorter this year .

i personally dont think houston christian has a chance against northland , i know houston christian got 30 points on them or whatever the first time but northland had 50 something, but i think northland will beat them by more then that this time, that is just my opnion, and concordia will beat st, josephs, this could be a decent game but then again concordia could blow them out, it depends how each team plays

NCS-HCHS- 56-21
not even a game, northland blows them out

Concorida-St.Josephs-49-21
St. Josephs hands around for a while but then concoridia will start to pull away

these are just my opnions, what do yall have to say about them?

Im not sure where your low opinion of St. Joes comes from. They are a very skilled and powerful team, and I imagine that the game will be very low scoring, and will go either way. Concordia is good enough to win, but so is St. Joes. It will come down to who wants it the most.

yeah, im not that real familier with st. josephs, i guess ill rephrase what i said, if they play like the played against second baptist then it will be a blow out, but nevertheless, i still think concordia will win by a very good margin

i have some news of some people being recruited in this district
#52 scott milbourn for northland has offers from
rice, smu, airforce, northwestern, and i think a few other schools

#34 garret van dyke for nothland has an offer from stanford

Northland Christian and St. Joesephs more than likely wont meet in the State final but if it were to happen I would argue that Northland would have to pull off an upset to beat St. Joesephs. St. Joes could even pull off a state championship this season.

oh i am sorry i thought st. joes played northland this week my bad, i think midland beats st. joes though of course, i think its decent game though, midland is just too big , and too much experince , st. joes doesnt have much size but is fast and plays with alot of heart, although liberty vs northland is game of week for sure, i think northland will pull it off even though liberty has a slight advantage, but with jeff abt playing good for northland, i think he is the best quaterback in tapps when he has his A game
