Todd Dodge is leaving SLC......

Todd Dodge, who has built a football dynasty at Southlake Carroll, will be announced as the new head coach at North Texas later today, replacing the fired Darrell Dickey. Under Dodge, Carroll won Class 5A state championships in 2002, 2004 and 2005, and will play Allen on Saturday for a chance at another title."

Is this the END of SLC's championship run???
Gotta be much bigger and better for UNT than for Dodge and maybe he can bring back the Mean Green Machine.
I think Riley will stay at SLC as it is only-
what 35 miles different?? Who knows, he could go to UNT next year. Either way in Denton, it is an interesting turn of events.

SLC was did well before Coach Dodge arrived. He took them to a new level.

I think he will do extremely well at NTSU. I wanted to see him go to Texas or A and M as the O.C. Both need his services greatly.

Carroll has been good for a long time. The all time Texas High School regular season win streak at 72 games, 3 State titles, all prior to Coach Dodge taking over. Now as the winningest High School program over the past 20 years, they are primed to win the 7th State title for the school. Coach Dodge will succeed in whatever he does, as will Southlake Carroll.

Southlake Carroll (15-0) won 43-29 over
Austin Westlake...(12-2-1).
