I would like to be the first say Congrats to the 2 pahandle teams that won State as in Canadian Wildcats & Muleshoe Mules. Also Great season Follett maybe next season. Also good luck goes out to the Stratford Elks as they advanced to the State title game again and could bring home the 3 state title this year to the panhandle.
Also some other facts that you folks might not know. First if Stratford can win next week. Stratford & Canadian will make 1A History. It would be the first time in 1A history and only the third time in All Classes to see two schools from the same district win state titles.
Also something else this would make 4 schools from the panhandle to repeat this school year. In other words if Stratford wins next week that mean the Following:

Amarillo High Volleyball-Three Peated state titles
Bushland High Volleyball-Back to Back state titles
Canadian High Football-Back to Back state titles
(2A last year & 1A this year)
Stratford High Football- Back to Back (IF THEY WIN NEXT WEEK)

This could be a great year for the panhandle and states titles if this keeps going. Still have Basketball to go and if you know the panhandle teams they are always there winning titles. So we shall see good luck to the rest of the state and rest of the panhandle schools.
