Army Strong 6ix-man Team of Week 2...

Facing a top-three team in Turkey Valley, Crowell didn’t put up your standard winning numbers: it was outrushed (208 yards to 123), it committed nine penalties for 85 yards and it turned the ball over three times.
But the passing game was effective all night, and only 20 fourth-quarter points by Turkey Valley made this game close.

Army Strong 6ix-man Team of Week 4

Silverton was mired at 0-4 to start the season, and considering it was a state semifinalist a year ago, that was not how things were supposed to start.
But the Owls got a road win this weekend against Lorenzo, which was 2-2 and favored by nine.
The final score was 37-12; that defensive effort held the Hornets to half of their average offensive output.

Army Strong 6ix-man Team of Week 5...
On the road and facing the No. 1 team in Division I six-man play, Follett,Throckmorton was in for a tough challenge.
And Throckmorton even trailed at the end of the first quarter.
But a 40-point third quarter blew this high-scoring game wide open, and the Panthers weren’t able to catch up in the final frame. This game had just two punts and nearly 40 first downs, but Throckmorton came out on top and is the new No. 1 team in DI play.

Army Strong 6ix-man Team of Week 6ix...

Crowell was the No. 5 team in six-man’s division I heading into the weekend, but Newcastle, on the road and a 30-point underdog, paid no attention to the rankings as it posted a 42-36 upset.
Newcastle trailed 28-20 at the half, but Newcastle held the Wildcats to just 8 points in the second half and outscored Crowell 14-0 in the third quarter alone.
Newcastle was picked well outside the playoff picture in the preseason, but it’s now in a tie for first place in district.
