I have been trying to find out who got the Timpson head coacjing job for a while now since Lucky Gambell was asked to step down. That was all over the news for a while, but now it seem like everything has gone hush hush. Is it still open or have they hired anyone????

they moved up a 25 year old 2nd year coach...they are now interviewing for a.d.-head coach..finalist are a bunch of old coaches and several coaches that are being fired at their present job...they are considering bring back the present coacn...board is split bad,the principal is leaving,the supt.is trying to leave,board will pick finalist to bring tue.,and board will hire their 5th coach in 4 years on friday...what a mess....

If Supt leaves, then I doubt that they will let Luck back in. He was a main pull for Lucky. I have had some people tell me that there needed to be some changes in Admin over there. I hate the mix ups for the players. It sounds like it really is a mess. I hope that they find someone good for the kids sake.

He has been around a while apparently.

Norman Cobb is a very good coach. He was coach at Groveton in the 70's and and helped them regain their discipline and winning attitudes.
