Army Strong 3A Team of Week 2wo....

After snapping a 14-game losing streak a week ago, Shepherd improved to 2-2 on the season with a win over the Woodville Eagles.
On the road and locked up in a tight 6-6 affair at halftime, Shepherd exploded in the second half, scoring 28 unanswered points through a balanced offense.
The back-to-back wins have been a rarity out in Shepherd for some time.

Army Strong 3A Team of Week 4....

Mexia was one of the top offenses in 3A football this season, but West showed it can score with the best of them with a truly remarkable comeback victory in the waning stages of the game.
The Mexia Blackcats, ranked No. 7 in the polls, led 27-7 with under seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter.
But West scored three times and recovered two onside kicks in the final minutes to post the 28-27 upset. The final score came with 32 seconds left.

Army Strong 3A Team of Week 5....
La Feria’s season, stuck in neutral at just 1-3 overall and 0-1 in district play, was starting off on the wrong foot, and playing district rival Raymondville on the road made it a 16 point underdog. But La Feria clung to a narrow 33-32 victory this weekend, knocking off one of the top teams in 32-3A by scoring 10 points in the final 43 seconds. The win puts La Feria at 1-1 in district play and right back into the 32-3A race.

Army Strong 3A Team of Week 6.

Despite the fact that Argyle is 100 students smaller than its larger district rival, Prosper, Argyle toppled the undefeated reigning DI champs, 17-14, this weekend to take over first place in 9-3A.
Both named the Eagles, the two teams were caught in a defensive struggle for much of the game, and Prosper managed just 60 total yards in the first half and 188 in the game.
Argyle recovered a critical fourth quarter Prosper fumble that essentially iced the game.

Argyle is off to its best start (6-0) in school history!!!
