I'm not one to make excuses on updating my website and newsletter on a later than expected release date. I'm usually right on time each and every year, but this year I can say my daughters definitely change that. Pigskin Prep's 2009 release date was pushed back 5 weeks this year as on my free time, if I can say I even have any, I decided to coach both of my girls softball teams. Not my first year to coach, as we usually play our 10 games then the season is over, I get my coaching fix and then I hit the updates full stride. In all the years I've coached, we never made the playoffs, been close so I new I would always be done after 10 games and be able to move onto football. This year my oldest daughter's team had different plans as I new they would be good, but not that good as we won our preseason tourney, then swept the season at (10-0) and the district tourney at (4-0) and then in the state tourney against a 20 team field, was able to place third. My youngest just missed making the playoffs but was picked up for 1st base and did very well in her district tourney also. I have never been so proud of my girls and the girls of both teams I coached. The bond you build with the families parents and seeing the kids grow is so rewarding. This adventure this year did cost me a 5 week set back, but it was one I and my girls will never forget. I thank each of you for your understanding and look forward to another great year.

Website updates - I had plans of releasing a complete new website being built this year. We want this to be one of the best sites, with quicker updates, more information and much more, so I will only be testing it this year and will plan to go live for next year. I will publish a link in a few days showing the front page so you can see the new Pigskin Prep look. I will also keep you updated on any new site updates.

Thank you.
