Army Strong 4A Team of Week 2wo....
CC Calallen looked like it had work to do this season after scoring just 25 points in its first two games.
But its 29-24 Week 3 win over the Los Fresnos Falcons proved that it can score the ball in bunches.
But the amazing thing was that Calallen found itself trailing by 17 points after the first quarter–after that point, the Wildcats outscored Los Fresnos 29-7 to post the comeback win.

Army Strong 4A Team of Week 4....
Waco High didn't look so hot when it started the season 0-3 under a new coach.
But it turned the year around in a big way with a 38-25 upset victory over district rival Ennis, which was ranked No. 8 in the 4A polls.
Waco forced seven turnovers--including four interceptions of Ennis' D.J. Betik, one of the state's leading passers.
Waco came out of the gate hot, and jumped out to a 35-11 halftime lead over the Lions.

Army Strong 4A Team of Week 5....
Corsicana used to be a football factory the likes of which the state had never seen, but realignment stuck them in a tough district a year and a half ago, and inconsistent play had forced the Tigers into also-ran status.
But an offseason coaching change is already paying dividends, as Phil Castles’ first win on campus came against No. 4 Waco Midway, 40-31. Corsicana forced the Panthers into two first-half interceptions that were returned for touchdowns and caused five turnovers overall.

Big Spring also snapped a district winning streak in Week 6, ending Wolfforth Frenship’s 16-game run. The Big Spring defense forced four interceptions from a Frenship quarterback that had yet to throw one all season long. Big Spring rallied from a 14-7 halftime deficit to post the win.
