We are officially in the playoffs. We cannot be bumped.


Brownwood lost to Killeena couple of weeks ago. AND IN A SHOCKER, Midway LOST to Waco University. If, in another SHOCKER, Midway wins against Brownwood and Waco University (home of L.T.) wins their final game, this time against Killeen, there would then be a THREE-WAY tie for the third playoff spot with each team's district record being a LOSING record of 2 wins and 3 losses. This is indeed a tough 6-team district. If Brownwood wins, the other game's outcome will not matter. Brownwood will get the 3rd playoff spot.

IF we win the Waco/Cove Game, we will be co-District Champions with Waco. That game will be for outright honors to Waco or shared glory with Cove. The two schools have a long and good history of clean hard-fought games. May the best team on Friday night win!
