Class AAA seems to be more wide open in regard to potential champions than in recent years. I could see anyone of five teams winning Division I and anyone of seven teams winning Division II.
1. Wylie vs. China Springs: should be close, but I’ll go with CS
2. Prosper vs. Van: Prosper wins
3. La Vega vs. Navasota: toss-up
4. Cuero vs. La Feria: another easy South Texas game for Cuero

1. Monahans vs. Bridgeport: Bridgeport should win
2. Sweetwater vs. Liberty Hill: Liberty Hill in a good game
3. Celina vs. Pleasant Grove: Celina
4. Kaufman vs. New Boston: pick’um
5. Gilmer vs. West Orange Stark: this one could be 100 to 99. I think Dan Ray’s Mustangs can make more stops and beats Gilmer.
6. Carthage vs. Rockdale: Carthage has size, speed, athletes and a tendency not to show up. Carthage should win.
7. Bellville vs. Sinton: Bellville wins.
8. Giddings vs. Rio Hondo: Giddings wins.
