Small school athletes signed track and field scholarships in 2009 are listed below. I'm sure more are not listed. Most of these guys also played football.
Hayden Baillio of Whiteboro threw the shot over 70 feet and the discuss over 200 feet.
Nathan Collier of Pottsboro won the 3200 meters and the 1600 meters and 15 minutes after the 1600 meters he returned to the track and ran a 49.58 split on the 4x400 Meter relay.
Cameron Horace won the long jump and 200 Meters. He anchored the record setting 800 relay and 1600 relay. His split on the 1600 relay was an in creditable 45.89.
We may get to see some of these guy in the Olympics someday.
